Naufal is a qualified Barrister-at-law. Prior to the entrepreneurial journey Naufal worked at a City law firm in criminal defence and dealt with several high profile trials including homicide, murder and VAT fraud.
Naufal led the successful creation and growth of Zamir Telecom, a company specializing in international airtime trading, telecom infrastructure and business telecom services. Simplecall was launched in 2006 with a view to bringing transparency to the calling cards or international calling services industry. Simplecall is proud to be the first international calling service to have introduced online accounts for users to see their call records and thereby challenging competitors to ensure transparent and honest service to customers who otherwise were ripped off under the guise of ‘creative billing’ and ‘small prints’. It was Naufal who introduced 24/7 customer care service for the first time in the history of UK calling card or international calling service market.
Based on the principles of transparency, honesty and innovation, Naufal embarked upon the idea of simplicity, innovation and transparency into remittance to create Simple Transfer.
